Amy, yes, I think I have been more on stocking food than anything else. We do have hurricanes here and have lost power for up to 2 weeks as well as some places loosing water for up to 2 weeks due to a tornado. Also looking at what is going on around the world right now, will not be good for us as we are in a target zone for a world war. We will be bombed around here with all the military bases around us. Then there is Washington DC. about 4 or 5 hours out and Russia raising it’s ugly head. So just not a good situation to be in. Right now I do have enough food not counting the long term food to last a year for just hubby and myself. Factor in the kids if they came here and we would need much more but daughter and son in law will have to help on that one. Daughter sees no need but her husband sees the need for lots of ammo and guns. Can’t eat those. Glad he is doing that but they need to do other things as well. I feel as though I have been putting my preps more into food and not enough skills and other things we might need, so need to switch gears. I am sure I will have enough food and if we do get bombed by Russia, N. Korea, China or who ever the military and DC will be what they aim for. I was watching the targets on the maps and it does not look good for the east coast. This is why I need to change my way of prepping but just reaching out as to which way to go. Moving to a safer place is on my list but hubby refuses to move. So for the time being, I am looking at bug out situations.
