During this month the furnace went down. We used the electric heaters. We used the kerosene heater for 12 hours to see how long it took to go through a tank. I bought used sheets to make large wash cloths for bathroom use. I added an afghan to the winter stash for the car. I read many different articles about getting prepped for winter. I started a fire pit for cooking outside. I started a greenhouse. Because of weather and our handy man’s wife being in the hospital the green house isn’t finished. I’m going to get the grills to finish the cooking pit and it will be ready to use. I changed jobs so more stress. Money is tight right now so I’m not spending much money on things I want for prepping. I did buy some emergency lights and 2 oil lamps. Took care of husband’s foot as this is an on going medical problem. So I get to practice my medical skills. I haven’t been able to check in every day with so much going on. My husband no longer drives so I take him places he needs to go when I get home from work.
