  We are expected to get snow, then sleet, and then “wintery mix.”
  
  Filled up some 5gal buckets with water for flushing.
  Topping off the re-chargeable batteries, getting 6v replacements. Locating other emergency supplies and keeping them handy.

    It’s the little things that make the difference especially in comfort even if it doesn’t get to survival.
    I know it was slower here getting power back on the other night because we’ve sent crews ahead to help out in other states.

  Yeah , what else is new ? We have actually been lucky the past 3-4 years , in the fact that it was not nearly as bad as it can get …..locally . It is what it is , get by as best we can .
