    Here are the small habits we’re incorporating into our daily lives.

    1. We’re drinking water before we drink other beverages.
    2. We’re adding a serving of fruit or veggies before each meal.
    3. We’re adding more movement to our day.
    4. We are performing 5 minutes of gentle stretches before we get out of bed in the morning.
    5. We are focusing on some rest or relaxation time on a daily basis.
    6. Replacing calorie-laden, nutritionally-barren snacks with fruits and veggies.
    7. Adding in the new habits to support the changes you want to make. (This will be different for all of us, based on our goals.
    8. Remember to sit in a way that supports your body.

    Today’s Challenge

    It’s Saturday – do you have the time to do an extended endurance workout today?

    Go and take a long walk today. If the weather is bad where you are, find someplace where you can walk indoors like a mall or Ikea. See if you can double your normal daily steps.

    It was beautiful today so I walked my regular walk and added weights and doubled the distance.

    Much warmer day today so did do a bit of walking.  Just been way to busy to get going on this but have been drinking more water, stretching, and eating lots of veggies and fruits which I do anyway.

    I was traveling this weekend. I did take the opportunity to get up an hour earlier on Sunday and get some walking in with my dogs. Even with the hours spent in the car, I was still able to get my steps in for the day.
