Clinton News Broadcasting Company . I take all US/UK news with a grain of salt , Considering Russiagate , etc. , Their bias is obvious , like listening to Joseph Goebbels telling the German people the war is not lost , when the Soviets are on the outskirts of Berlin . . Might be true , might not be , could be a selected truth , as in a certain sector of the economy is being laid off at 35% , while others are actually growing . Thing is , no matter who is in office , business is business , and the job market is strictly supply and demand . Few young people are going into the trades , as most don’t want to get dirty , therefore the demand for those jobs is going to be higher ( and pay more if the demand increases ) , while those going into video games are going to have a hard time of it . There are already too many looking for those jobs as it is , and companies can afford to pay peanuts because they know they can replace the guy tomorrow if they had to . I just have such little trust in the media anymore , that If I see their mouth moving , they must be telling a lie .

And how many of those jobs are going to immigrants h2b visa? Illegal immigrants?  A good paying job to would you like fries with that job? Only segment that is growing at unprecedented rate is those not able to find work  and working poor. Oh and super rich but only thier bank accounts.

Here is the thing , if you go into fine art , or ” lesbian dance theory ” , your job possibilities are slim . On the other hand , if you go into Plumbing , Electrical , Carpentry , or Medicine , you will always have a job , one that pays well . You will be needed anywhere in the country . Those that go into the more esoterical  fields , will struggle all their lives . Some people may WANT to be a pro athlete , but very few actually make the cut .

Tolik is correct.  Considering what colleges and universities call education these days its a wonder any graduate can find meaningful employment.  Leftist indoctrination is NOT education.  We have two choices – allow the markets to determine the delivery of goods and services and their value or turn it all over to government.  One is free choice by the consumer while the other is force.

Problem with tolik claim is they don’t find jobs therefore are not able to be laid off. There are a huge number of people I the past 1 year looking for work which just drop off the count. 225,000 last month about 100,000 are baby boomers retiring approx, what about the other 125 000, when you add up those against population of working age in working shape mentally and physically un employment rate is 23 percent.

You know government at very least distorts the truth why would they not on theses numbers. Look at the amount of homeless and look at the welfare payouts snap section 8 housing ever increasing. Why do they keep on increasing if employed people number stays the same?

The other problem with the useless university  grads is their debt is 1/3 of the value of the usa government and we know they have zero way of paying it back. 100 k in debt you need a pretty good job to pay it back it’s like starting with a small mortage in debt with absolutely no way to pay it back and jow with women taking 60 percent of the placements you can deduce where this is going to end up.

I think Tolik is on target….there are absolutely jobs out there if folks want to work….problem in my opinion is that we’ve made government programs such as food, rent, health, etc. assistance so attractive to many, why work? For generations of those who’ve availed themselves of these policies they learned how to work the system. Homelessness….okay but why? Hey, I’m so old and I’ve seen abuses of the system for so many years, It’s hard for me to find much compassion. But then, I worked to provide for my family as a single Mother of three boys, while watching others stay home in rent free or subsidized housing watching TV all day, using their food stamps, on and on while they took advantage and lied about their circumstances. Sorry. I’ve got to get off this topic for I still feel angry.
