For . . . fun, I look over reloading manuals of calibers I dont even own, and compare them with others.
The 38Super seems to have more power/speed than the 9mm, but not as much as the .357.
I also think the .357SIG might be a better round then the 9mm or the .357 in a semi-auto platform.-
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Yeah 38 super was for competition because at its highest loading it can make “major”. What I saw was everyone claiming it made “major” but when the matches hit they downloaded it. Good match directors would randomly sample and chrono loads.

357 SIG is a great cartridge but does have limits especially with heavier bullets. Not many good 357 semi autos out there. Coonans are rare and Desert Eagles are too big.I posted this because in situations one might doing a scramble for ammo in a weapon they may have acquired.
