Is anyone personally familiar with this shotgun? I’m debating the 590A1 M-Lok and the Magpul series.
Both are 8 shot home defense pump shotguns. Based on the reliable model 500, but with a thicker barrel and other upgrades. Both have a ghost ring sight and stocks that can be adjusted. I have a somewhat short length of pull (T Rex arms) and so need something shorter than the 13+” LOP (I had my model 500 switched to a youth stock). The Magpul version has a stock that can be set to anything from 12.25 to 14.25, while the M-Lok has that push button adjustable stock. I’ve handled them a little on lower recoil firearms, but am a bit concerned as to how such a push button quick adjustable stock would hold up to the pounding of a 12 gauge.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

If you are short armed maybe a winchester defender spx with ATI furniture might work. Has a short stroke and the ATI kit has a folding AR style butt stock. I have 2 of them and the girls like them for smaller arm length and the stainless version sits in the tractor even when dirty.

Haven’t had an issue with the real M4 style stocks and hundreds of rounds of magnum buckshot.
My shoulder didn’t like it though.
The Knoxx/Blackhawk! recoil absorbing, collapsing stock is a godsend. Worth every penny.
