A proposed anti-gun bill would require prospective gun owners to turn over their internet search history and social media passwords to buy or renew permits. Talk about Minority Report.

What a slippery slope this is.

It violates the 4thA, not just the 2ndA.

Of course it comes down to, who is determining what is criminal activity or speech on the internet?

Social media is already on its way out. People are figuring out that it’s being used to track / make decisions about them based on the picture of what they posted online vs. how they behave in real life. Turns out they’re not liking that very much.
