The little Marxist stoolies in Portland and elsewhere are dangerous, but not as dangerous as their leaders.
The common thug doesn’t understand not care about Marx or any of the “great minds” before them. What they care about was mentioned in the readings above, but the ability to be as bad as they can be while blaming anyone else for causing them to act so.
Their leaders at least know about Marx or the philosophy of socialism. As such they direct the thugs accordingly .
Its a pretty good chess game, if the cops respond they are facist tools of the .gov. If the cops don’t respond they are weak and the public hates them for the inaction. In either case, the anti .gov sentiment grows. Add to that a Mayor and council who hate the police to start and it gets more interesting day by day.
These thugs are entitled to everything, just ask them. And the problem is that they have been getting their way. They are emboldened by it, others join to get some of that. It’s growing and will continue until the revolution eats its children, or someone squashes them like pests.
They will return later, another place, another day. Marxism doesn’t go away, just continues.

From what I’ve observed, Antifa is made up mostly by affluent white kids. Their chosen name itself shows how topsey-turvey our society has become. No one is more fascist than those calling themselves anti-fascists. No one is less intolerant that those preaching that we all must be more tolerant.

A slip it was. Don’t think it was Freudian. Allow me to re-phrase. No one is as intolerant as those who preach to the rest of us that we must be tolerant of the perversions the left advocates. There… I think I fixed it.

Based off everything I have read, they are a largely organic, headless, generally aimless, group. Their main conviction is the US is being taken over by fascists that do not exist. Much of this belief is based on the hyper-MSM reaction when Clinton lost in 2016. Many of the problems they accuse Trump doing are problems that have been in existence for some time.
