KeymasterThe problem is, who gets to define what is hate speech.
There are some glaring instances.
But in this day and age of hyper-emotional reactions, safe spaces, I can see this getting way out of hand.

Participant“Hate speech” is nothing more than a communist contrivance weaponized to neutralize the First Amendment, resulting in the removal of free speech and the sharing of ideas and opinions contrary to that of the communists. Its much easier to subvert a society when the opposition is afraid of being targeted for using “hate speech” and the only ideas and opinions that are disseminated are those of the communist. Selective enforcement is the wagon hitched to that horse that holds the communist unaccountable for their own written and verbal insults, derision, bigotry, racism, and attacks against the opposition. People have lost jobs, lost grants, lost book deals, and been publicly smeared by expressing their own opinions and speaking the truth.

ParticipantSo do the j&^s, Muslim, femininist. .. every group tries to control speech for thier advantage…hence my opinion no such thing as hate speech. If you cant openly discuss something then you know it’s a carefully crafted lie at some level

ParticipantWhoever is able to control speech controls the narrative. Whoever controls the narrative will likely be the winner in the end considering the demonstrated absence of common sense, critical thinking, and the overabundance of ignorance residing within the general public these days.
