Combusting birds OMG! I have a HS friend who worked for Westinghouse building military radar systems. If a flight of geese came by when the radar beam was sweeping across, the whole flight would drop to the ground, their goose was cooked. Tastes like chicken…
Do solar panels get created from rainbow and unicorn farts? Of course not, lots of nasty poisons are involved in their manufacture. As long as humanity has been mining ore out of the ground we’ve been poisoning the neighborhood, and as a result we have this fabulous civilization built on yesterday’s garbage. Will today’s refuse kill off our grandchildren? Hopefully not. There’s a lot less noticeable pollution nowadays than when I was a kid, but maybe it got offshored with my mfg job in the 80’s. Oh well, I don’t make widgets anymore, it doesn’t concern me as much as before.
