KeymasterEvery year, it’s become a tradition to post the worst videos from Black Friday shoppers. I post these as a cautionary tale to demonstrate how people will behave if they become desperate.
If you’re interested in watching, watch soon. YouTube tends to take these down fairly quickly.
I will NEVER understand why people bring their children to these things!

ParticipantIt is sad to see what human beings have sunk to. “Things” have become more valuable than life itself. They risk their own safety just to get a good deal. The stores should be ashamed of themselves for creating this dangerous situation. They could do the same sales online and have them shipped to the store. They already payed to have it shipped anyway so why not just notify the buyer when their order arrives.

So, how long do you guys think it will take people to get hungry enough to act this way for food? My guess is 48 hours w/o food, which will take 3-6 days for the sheeple.

KeymasterI think it would depend on the type of disaster. Those who figure it out the soonest will make mad dashes for whatever they can find. That might set off a mass panic, snowball like affect.
If it was some unknown, might take some time before people realize that what is in the cabinets is it. Especially when they get down to eating those cans of soup that have been in there for months/years.

@CB – Good point about type of disaster. Be nice to have a list of which is which. If you could know 2 or 3 days ahead of the crowd, not only could you hit the stores ahead of the crowd, you could max out your cards buying stuff online with overnight delivery.
