If you are planning to grab board games for the kiddos for the holidays, you might want to hit Target. Their games are Buy 2, Get 1 Free 🙂

If my kids still played them. My youngest never opened at least one of the games I bought last year. Seen it recently still in it’s plastic. It has to be online, electronic or it’s no good as far as games go. I’m glad the child at least likes to read real books otherwise he’d be numb when the lights go out!

My husband has made a deal that he will play Monopoly or Scrabble with me if the power goes out. Naturally the power hasn’t gone out for more than 30 minutes in the last 3 years. *sigh*
We do have a stock of board games in case the grandbabies are with us. Yahtzee, Monopoly, Scrabble, chess, checkers, and lots of jigsaw puzzles. Regular decks of cards are set aside also.

I just saw the games at my local Kroger are marked down for a steal!  Clue was $4.50, Risk was $10, Pictionary was $7, and Apples to Apples was $5.  They had several more for dirt cheap too.
