    But to pay for part of it, the state will begin taxing people who don’t have health insurance.

    Old friend of mine got hit by the ACA version of this. He cannot afford the insurance in the first place, then he got taxed for it. So, he got the cheapest ACA plan he could find. Then when he needed to use it, he could not find any doctors in the greater Columbus area that would take it.
    In the end he ended up going to a Doc in the box, and paying an additional $300.
