    I don’t see any ideas for canning. So I guess I could put it here. I know I have had questions on different things so thought I would try to start one here so that anyone with questions on canning something new could find the answer for it.

    My question is that I bought 10 lbs of italian meatballs from Sam’s club. They are frozen and we use them in speggetti and other things.  I want to try to can them. has anyone done this before and if so how did you do it?  I am thinking I would have to thaw them and heat them up.

    Hi! If you were to can these, you wouldn’t need to preheat them. I would can them in either marinara or beef broth, depending on your intention for using them in the future. This would need to be canned at 12 pounds of pressure (adjusting for your altitude.) Pressure can for 90 minutes.

    Thank you so much Daisy for the info. I will be getting them canned as soon as my granddaughter from CA has left as I have a lot of canning and things to get done. But need to spend time this week with granddaughter before her trip back to CA.
