    I cannot find the article by Daisy that recommended a counter top hot plate where you could heat your canner if you have a glass topped stove. Any recommendations?

    Those are magnetic conduction tops stainless steel canners will work aluminium ones not so much…if you have a large enough cast iron pan you can use that to heat by putting canner inside the cast iron

      Thanks Namelus, I appreciate the information. I have been canning for awhile but wanted a double oven when we bought a new range.
