I’ll make it short and easy. Profits won’t be any higher for cattlemen because as they raise theirs fuel, feed etc are rising at the same pace.
Those cattlemen who didn’t adjust quick enough will lose money if they aren’t careful.
We bought all our feed through March which is when we will butcher. I’m still working on hay and stressing because prices are skyrocketing on alfalfa and rising on Bermuda. We haven’t got a cut because of how dry it is. This rain will help. I’m hoping to have it all by the end of June. I’m gonna overbuy too just in case
