Anonymous@CB those industries for sure. But that doesn’t go far enough. What about military parts: vehicle replacement parts and tires, what parts of our military equipment (tanks, aircraft, ships, subs, artillery, missals, etc) are made or assembled in part in china. Certainly those giant transformers mentioned in Lights Out by Ted Koppel and what about other critical infrastructure like electrical generation and distribution, oil refining and distribution, etc.Computer parts, radios and parts. The list is virtually endless.

Concerning military contracts, it depends on how the contract is written.
Many of them require for US production.
But your assessment is not off, re: tires, belts, etc. can and do come from overseas.
