ParticipantI hate to post this but apparantly it seems to be telling people that if the urban areas are going to collapse it is time to get out as soon as you can to the rural areas before they are bought out by super-capitalists and gentrified. As a former city slicker myself it sort of pisses me off, they should just go to the suburbs, buy a Mossberg 88 and vote for 2A candidates instead of destroying the rural areas for the natives.

Ain’t much room anywhere round here. They city has come to the rural with new editions going in and farms selling off at record pace and record prices. It’s been happening for 2 years now.
My niece has moved to a place near me and I’ve been busting behind to get them set up. They are city as it comes but have embraced it.
There are a few places ruined by incoming and there is some Texafornia happening in areas south of me too. -

ParticipantWe bought a few acres of land with a cabin six years ago. It’s not valuable land (sand all the way to China), but considering the events since the beer bug and BLM, it turned out to be our smartest move to get outta Floydsville while our inner city home still had value. Most my old associates are either in denial or frozen with inaction, hoping that all those police that quit will be coming back for more abuse from our esteemed mayor and city council. Ain’t gonna happen.
Don’t expect the neighbors already living there to greet you with open arms. We have a few close friends here, but it took six years to develop those, and lib/lefty attitudes get you nowhere. So when you move, be prepared to give up more than that pizza delivery service you enjoyed in town.PS land prices are going through the roof. Buy now while you still can.
