Yeah….NIMBY. But if folks could be trusted to stay inside and not wander over to go bowling…. In that, the current residents have a point. I wouldn’t trust anyone to keep on-my-honor quarantine. Few have honor these days. If they put up an fence and a guard……
Oh my…now we’re talking about FEMA camps 😉 Well maybe we are and maybe we aren’t. During an outbreak with the chance of spreading like this one, either we take measures to get it stopped……or we lose a whole lot of our older population. And I’m realllly fond of at least two of them.
Then again, once certain types of govt override is accepted….it’s really hard to get those practices to STOP once enacted for the time of true emergency. So caution is needed.
I am on both sides of this fence. It wouldn’t even be an issue if folks were sensible and honorable. …not happening tho.
