MiamiHerald is pretty reliable, but Floridas Governor says that community spread doesnt exist in Florida ( at this time)

says the governor of a state that relies heavily on tourism.

I think DeSantis was stating that because of Tourism and the income it provides the state, not because its true.

@ corsaire I was trying to make light of it. It is an areosol spread so of course it’s contagious and will spread too late for this bio weapon containment.

 

The elderly especially will drop fast when it hits overwhelming the health care and responsee time for any services. A MMA trainer had to wait 36 hours with his dead sister in house before pick up in northern Italy. .. guy was a mess. Have plans for that if it happens.

Healthcare in FL is pretty pathetic to begin with, and with this and the elderly population. Doesnt look good.
