We have five confirmed cases of COVID-19 in metro Atlanta, and a possible case in the county where I live.  The case in the county where I live recently returned from Italy and has self-quarantined.  I don’t know anyone who just got back from Italy, so I think I’m okay. :-).

My preacher posted an amusing video showing how our church was responding.  He first dressed up in a HAZMAT outfit with a respirator with his wife asking, do we have to dress like this on Sunday?

His answer was, “No,” then he took off his outfit and told us that we were still having services, and among the things we are going to do is to have individual communion cups (we do weekly communion) and he’s encouraged us to greet others in ways that we feel comfortable with.

Good for him having a sense of humor.

Though I do wonder when even church services will be suspended.
