Interesting article, but they didn’t mention many more events on the list. Mostly they listed the lesser likely events. Nothing financial or political is listed. Of course they are talking about level 4 events, not just ordinary SHTF (level 2 events?) or worse TEOTWAWKI (level 3 events and higher?) scale events.

Half of them are disease-based. We would see travel restrictions and quarantine zones fairly quickly. Things get more complicated for those who choose to bug out in such a situation. When you arrive and community is already in place, if they don’t place you in temporary quarantine, just leave because they’ll get hit eventually. If you’re first in, you’ll have to implement temp quarantine for all other arrivals. Even meeting to barter will be dangerous.

Lot of people were up in arms over the idea of a travel ban. Think of the last Ebola case that showed up here in the states.
Can you imagine the outrage if it were suggested to close the borders even if it meant keeping those infected out? That is racist!Depending on the incubation period, a travel ban could be too late.
