The wife had to goto TSC for goat kidd replacer milk (see the “Baby Goat Surprise” thread).
While she was there, they had ducklings.
She texted me, “How many you want?”
“10. Get the duckling starter, and something to hold them in.”
She did, and a plastic baby pool.
So, while she was coming back, I ran around, got one reptile heating rock and two seedling starter heater mats plugged in.
Some double layer of cardboard to act as insulation for the floor. Found the old water dispenser.
Happy to report we have what look like are 10 Runner ducklings. They are bigger than I thought too.
    Will get pics later.

Crowbar congrats on the ducks…  watch out with electrical and ducklings because of water…. the heating pads to make clean up easier if not under the pool (I found not hot enough) wrap in plastic wrap for quick cleans.

Also inverting one so they can huddle under like mom makes them feel at home. But they tend to hop.on top when older leaving poop behind. Did you get some chicken/duck vitamin  it’s a powder you put in water they seem to do better on it..

The heating mats are designed to be put under the seedling cells, but in the water catchment pan. So, the are water proof.
      Same with the heating rock.
Nothing exposed and the cords are long enough I have them up and away from their water.

Thank you for the info on the vitamins. Will get that soonest!
