For most people here, I think this is a no-kidding! Really? You dont say!

And in case you were wondering as to what the definition of “ultra-processed foods” was, here is that too: http://archive.wphna.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/WN-2016-7-1-3-28-38-Monteiro-Cannon-Levy-et-al-NOVA.pdf
Reading the NOVA, it is not a surprise at how many Americans (and other Western countries) are not only obese, but of poor health.
Really, take a read.
I did some objective analysis on myself, what is in the pantry, we fall nearly 99% into the first 3 groups. The 4th, maybe once in awhile, like every 3 to 6 months.

The same with us except we eat fair bit of hand made iceream but only raw milk, cane sugar and natural flavours. Favorite is triple coffee, brewed, expresso and candied crushed bean.
The ultra processed food is more like a chemistry experiment, though I do like cream soda and jelly beans. Like cigars I know they are bad but don’t care as sometimes you have to live a little.
When I read ultra processed food all I could think of was is that not everything kraft foods makes? Need to have the food in title or would be same as dow chemicals.
