    I can’t read it since I am not a subscriber but my opinion on this junk is a full on hell no.  Unfortunately, like Monsanto and GMO’s based foods have proven over and over again, my opinion means nothing when it comes to big corporations making $$$.

    @Crazy Me,

    It is the USDA and the FDA sharing the oversight.

    Here is a snip of the article,

    Cell-based meat is produced using poultry and livestock cells that have the ability to self-renew. Those cells are placed into bioreactor tanks, where they are fed nutrients and oxygen, helping muscle tissue to grow. In a matter of weeks, developers say, the tissue can be harvested as meat and formed into products ranging from beef meatballs to chicken strips.

    I have been following the news with this for a while, and even though it being ‘normalized’ it still gives me chills.  Something about it just feels wrong.  I know this happens in living beings, human liver for example can regrow themselves under the right circumstances, lizards can regrow tails, starfish can regrow arms, the idea of making food with this process is just beyond creepy.
