Hi there. Learned about this forum on Zero Hedge and thought it might be a good alternative to the typical social media. I live outside Washington DC and am a native of Upstate NY. The longer I live here the more I wish I could throw a rock in the air and not hit anyone… I look forward to poking around and seeing what y’all have to say. I may even participate.

Hi there! I’m not that far from you. (Well, 4 hours-ish) I’m in Southern Virginia and every time I drive through Alexandria I just want to get through it as quickly as possible. Of course, it’s not possible, and there I sit, in gridlocked traffic. When I was a kid, I remember staying in Alexandria with my family when we went to DC and it was nothing like it is now. It seems to be congested like this all around the metro DC area.
