    Greetings Y’all,
My husband and I are full time RVers and are currently parked in the beautiful woods of “The Deep East” in Texas. We like it so much here we are seriously considering buying a bit of land and making this our permanent place to homestead. If anyone is familiar with this part of the country and can give some advice we’d surely appreciate it 🙂
Many thanks to Selco and Daisy for starting this forum. We quit social media a few years back but have still desired to connect to like minded individuals. Now we can do so again without all the PC nonsense. Well done!

Everyone have a blessed day and be safe out there.

    Warm Regards,
    Pineywoods18

I love East Texas. It’s so beautiful and green there. You’ve chosen a gorgeous place to homestead.

    Hello Deborah and welcome here!

Please feel free to share your experiences from RV life, I must say I am personally very interested in that.

    Thank you!

    Selco and Daisy,
What an honor to have you both welcome me so warmly! I told my husband it was like having two of my favorite rock stars reply to my post 🙂
Daisy, yes, East Texas is indeed gorgeous. We had started out the beginning of the month in Williston, ND, where my husband was hauling sand to the oil fields for a short time to fatten up the checking account. Barely a tree or anything green in site, so we are loving it here. And the warmer temps are welcome, too.
Selco, I would be happy to answer any questions you have about full-time RV living, but I have only been doing this since July of 2017, when my husband and I married. He’s been at it for nearly three years. Still, I have learned a lot and as with most things in life there are pluses and minuses. For us, the pluses most definitely outweigh the minuses. I love the fact that my home goes with me everywhere and everything I own fits within 250 square feet. That is so liberating to me!
There’s a fella named Bob on YouTube who has a ton of videos promoting the nomadic lifestyle that we follow and get some great, inexpensive ideas from: CheapRVliving. We highly recommend his channel.
Y’all take care and thanks again for welcoming me to your forum!

    Warm regards,
    Deborah

Hi, Clay Basket! Thank you for the nice welcome 🙂 I hope you will share about some of your adventures being a full-time RVer. I really enjoy hearing about other people’s adventures on the road.

    Warm regards,
    Deborah
