Hello, I am a retired nurse that would like to learn more skills from back in the day. My grandmother taught me to cook from scratch, sew, and preserve food from the garden. Gardening is not my most favorite thing, btw, as I am inherently lazy. I have been following the creators of this forum for a while now and am glad for a more private way to meet like-minded people.

I am with you on the gardening. We do it, but it is a lot of work. I definitely prefer raising livestock to the work in the garden.

Hi, GS! You sure have some great skills. I like having a garden but it sure is a lot of work for something that dies at least half the time. (I probably shouldn’t admit that!)
