Anyone out there in southern Oregon who wants to meet & share knowledge & skills, please let me know.   I am 70 years old (although my attitude & mind thinks I’m a lot younger), live alone and a mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. We were 5 generations but my mother passed recently.   I first started prepping about 7 years ago, but not knowing anything at the time I made some bad food storage mistakes.  I’m a lot wiser now, have improved a lot and definitely making much smarter decisions.  I  have my own garden, home can and have sufficient organic freeze dried & dehydrated stores. When it is a bit cooler I’ll be concentrating on making more ‘Meals in a Jar’ (& mylar bags).  The ones in glass jars are for home use & mylar bags stored in food grade buckets with varying meals in each.  I’m pretty OK in the water department having two 55 gallon barrels, twelve 5 gallon container (I’m getting more) and every available glass jar quart size & higher stashed in every corner, cabinet & cubbyhole. I have drapes that fall to the floor & water stored behind them all equaling about 26 ft.  My armaments are in pretty good order & variety.  My basic first aid info & supplies are good but I am planning on learning much more on the more serious kinds of wounds, injuries, etc.  My BOB is ready, I have my get home bag in the car with other supplies and my purse is loaded with numerous defense tools.
