Given the Facebook Purge, this is especially timely to have up and running. Thank you, Daisy and Selco for pulling this together. It is really great to have another platform. I’m in the North GA mountains and working on being here full time (I still commute to the city to work). I’ve been prepping since 1997 and still find more I need to know every day. Looking forward to watching this grow.

So I had the brief thought to post as GardenWeasel and maintain some seperation. Then I realized I have simply run out of four letter words to give. Like care, care is a four letter word. That is clearly what I meant. *cough*
Anyways! I live in the mountains of Northern Idaho. Happy to see a spot to circle the wagons!

I am a Navy wife(retired) and mom of a deployed sailor. Still have a teenage son who’s a junior in high school. I am a special education teacher living the urban dream in Colorado. I’m a longtime prepper and wannabe homesteader.
Really excited about this new forum!
