    Seen another chart that shows like 4 corportation own like 90% of the MSM news outlets.
    Personally, I tend to avoid most MSM. Get more, and I feel better news from alt-news sources.
    Of course, MSM does not like that, cuts into their revenue.
    As always, read for the facts, dismiss the bias or slant, and make your own conclusion or opinion.
    Dont let them tell you what you think.

    Add to this social media, which is widely censored, and there’s a very ugly monopoly on information.

    @daisy,

    Could not agree more.

    Question everything.  From commercials, to news. to late night shows . . . there is an agenda being pushed.

    I’m not on Twitter.  Nor am I on FB.  I have lots of new sources other than what is being controlled by communists.  Still, Zuckerberg and his peers must be held accountable.  They are traitors, and must be treated as such.

    Hmmm….this old hermit on the mountain hasn’t had TV for 30 yrs.  What’s a radio?….that’s an emergency device down in the Faraday box.   Even the radio in the car went ka-put.  We live outside of cell phone range unless we go ‘into town’.  No FB.  No other social media ….which usually requires cell phone.

    On 2 forums.  Other Internet places I visit.  Gather news/data from NON-standard news sources and occasionally research that data if I feel the need to KNOW and/or VERIFY something.  I do love to research ordinary data…non-news topics that catch my interest. I can do that for hours.  I gaze at headlines for a quick look at what’s happening globally/locally.  Have email alerts set for wildfires in our area OR other local alerts we’d need to know.

    I guess there is not a lot of news data that we process.  Being in ‘boonies’ and choosing not to be on social media, leaves us wondering what some terms even mean.  {shrug}  Not stressing about it.  Sad to think of masses and masses of folks who immerse themselves in “news” and know little.

    It is wise to pay attention to what is happening in the “news”.

    If for no other reason than you know what the “masters” want you to think.

    Forewarned is forearmed.

    OldmtWoman. I am with you. Though we do have a tv and radio, I do not watch the news much at all. Mostly the local news for weather and such. I leave the news to hubby to watch. I rather go to internet and get news from much better places than CNN, MSNBC, Fox news and all of those. Can”t believe half of what they say and the other half is questionable.

    MSM is not reporting the news anymore.
    They are more like late night infomercials.

    Some of the alt-media can be out there, but they also call out MSM and their propaganda.
