Thank you so much for making this forum! I am really looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say. I have raised 3 pretty cool kids and I am married to the love of my life. After our kids all moved out to go be grown ups, my husband and I sold our condo in the big city and moved to East Tennessee where we have started our little farm of prepping and fun times with 4 pygmy goats, 20 chickens, 4 guineas, 4 ducks, 2 dogs and now 3 baby orphan kittens! Since I am sooo new at prepping I need all ya’ll’s knowledge and experiences so I will on here ALOT LOL! Thanks again Daisy & Selco!!

My mom’s mom was from East Tennessee up in the mountains around Newport. They moved down here in SC back in the day when textile plants used to send recruiters up in the mountains looking for cheap labor. I can remember when you get off the highway ( not interstate) you were pretty much on a dirt road up there.
Sounds like y’all are living the dream.
