Hi all and especially Daisy and Selco. Thanks for starting this forum. I was on Selco’s forum as “David”. Have been following Selco from the beginning and think he is the best.
I have been “preparing” since the 80s following another message, which suggested I/we start a self sufficient homestead as Americans call it. So we bought a small farm in central North Island NZ, about the latitude of San Francisco. I can grow oranges.. gives you an idea of the climate. Well… many years have passed and I have gotten OLD! but learnt a lot. My wife is from the USA so I am familiar with the country of most of you. Spent some time there. Will post more in the “rural prep” topic.
