In our area the cost per lb of produce and meat have gone up.
The lack of sun to do the photosynthesis caused the animal feed to be way less nutritious therefore more feed and small crops hay i trucked in from 800 miles away to get good feed. The amount of grain for pigs has gone up 20 percent in volume due to lack of carbohydrates and vitamins. We had feed tested at university for last 5 years.
Get ready this is going to suck and be expensive we are starting up micro greens a month early and are struggling to get extra feed to make up for deficiencies.
