    Holy cow, this story.

Stranded California Ambulance Crew Survived the Wildfire (and Saved Their Patients) by Fighting It Themselves

    There’s a lot to be learned about…

    • panicking but then pulling it together
    • making a plan and taking action
    • knowing at least a little bit about fighting fires if you are in a fire-prone area

Let me know what you think.

    Good read.

Yes, I am tired about reading of so-called celebrities, evacuating to one of their other homes out of state.

    They kept it together.

This makes my hair stand on end.  So glad to read of their eventual escape.  Also good to realize they didn’t just sit and wait for SOMEONE to rescue them.  Of course in those professions of ambulance drivers, nurses, etc….those are typically rescue-helping-proactive folks by nature.  The ability to set aside your own panic and get busy is a great prep skill.
