“Hanage speculates, though, that within three to four months experts could learn enough about the virus to resume some – but not all – normal activities”

Wow, this doesn’t sound good. About what I expected but certainly not what I have hoped for.

I think a lot of Americans think once NYC or Washington State get past it, it will be over.
The increases in New Orleans, Boston, Philly, they are just getting started.that pushes everything farther into June, July.
Will summer result in a downturn?
I look at the spring break kids, Iran, and wonder.

Watching the numbers and spread, the collective guess after a round table was between 6-8 months.
And thats if it doesn’t rebound next fall/flu season.

Simply too many carriers that aren’t symptomatic.

We had a mystery bug here in early December, didn’t show up as flu but had flu-like symptoms. Whole lot of people sick and miserable, I ended up on the tail end of it in January and still enjoying the long lasting chest congestion.

Too many people are not listening, the spring break kids for example.

Simply put, until there’s a vaccine or people can self isolate long enough for the virus to burn out, this one is gonna keep going. A long hot dry summer will help.
