You got code here instead of the recipe, but the link works.
Cake looks good.

I had trouble with code stuff in my posts as well. Had to manually delete them all, and ended up like fuggedabout it, lol.
Although I cleared all formating in my posts that were initially written in Google Docs (Ctrl+/), the code still showed up.
I wonder how to prevent that? It sure is a deterrent to posting much.

In the text boxes for replying to a post, or even creating a new one, you may want to click on the Text tab, next to the Visual tab.
Then copy the URL to the linky you want to insert into the text box (or Ctrl-C), then clink in the text box itself, and paste or (Crtl-V).

Thank you, Crowbar! I will do that.
I also found this helpful info earlier today: maybe it will help others who use Google Doc (on their Chromebooks, etc.) before submitting a long-ish post.

No worries!
I bounce back and forth between the two tabs as to which one provides the best features for what I want to do.
Visual for uploading pics from my local box. -

@Last Chance,
Let me know if you can or cannot see the following:Ingredients
1 cup butter, for cake
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
2 cups buttermilk
4 eggs
2 egg yolks
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 cups All Purpose White Flour
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract, for cake
1/4 cup raspberry jam
2 tablespoons water
1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces mascarpone cheese
8 ounces cream cheese
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract, for frosting
2 cups mixed berries
1/4 cup butter, for frostingSteps
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350º F. Coat 2 cake pans with cooking spray and line the bottom of the pans with parchment paper.
Step 2
Beat the butter and sugar for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Step 4
Add egg yolks, one at a time. Stir in the vanilla.
Step 5
Stir together salt, baking powder, and flour. Pour half of the flour mixture into the butter mixture and beat until just combined. Add half of buttermilk, then add the remainder of the flour mixture followed by the remainder of the buttermilk. Do not over mix.
Step 6
Divide the cake batter evenly between the pans.
Step 7
Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 8
Remove from the oven. Let cool.
Step 9
Now, berry syrup:
Combine the raspberry jam and water; heat in the microwave for 20 second increments. Press through a sieve to remove seeds.
Step 10
Now, frosting:
Beat heavy cream and vanilla extract until it has peaks form.
Step 11
Beat mascarpone cheese, cream cheese, butter and confectioners’ sugar until very smooth.
Step 12
Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture until completely incorporated. Use immediately.
Step 13
Split each layer in half. Place the first layer on your serving plate.
Step 14
Pour the berry syrup over the cake layer then add a layer of frosting.
Step 15
Put some berries over the frosting layer.
Step 16
Repeat with more layers.
Step 17
Place the final layer of cake on top. Use the remaining frosting to cover the cake.
Step 18
Arrange berries and mint leaves on top. -
