Hi There, Wondering if there is anyone local to me on this forum? If yes, are you experiencing pressure to get vaccinated? How are you responding to this? I’m an essential worker (labourer on a dairy farm) and apparently the vaccinations are coming to the farm soon. Everyone I know is getting the vaccine and is happy about it. It would be nice to connect with someone like minded who is local. i am afraid about what comes next.
I am a homesteader on a half acre with skills in farming, organic vegetable gardening, seed saving, preserving food using old-style farm methods that require no electricity (e.g., trenching, salting in crocks), herbalism, and plant identification. I have lived five years completely off-grid in a small cabin.
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!

Hi C.P.G. Not right in your area, as I live in Barrie. I know some people in the Bancroft area, that even if they don’t all call themselves preppers, they sure live the life. I always compare notes to see what we can learn and share.
Like you I’m wary of the vaccine too. Luckily I’m a semi-retired/unemployed bum,:) so I don’t have an employer to force it on me, but I’m worried we’ll be required to have a shot before we can travel, or do whatever. My advice would be to not take any of the mRNA vaccines, the new untested ones that actually start rewriting your Rna/DNA. The Novavax version may soon be approved in Canada, and it is an old style like flu, measles, etc. I’d hold out for that if you are forced to take one.
I have to hand it to you. Five years in an off grid cabin! I’m an old farm boy and I know how much work it can be. I admit I’ve got soft enough to really appreciate hydro and natural gas.
Best of luck, hang in there and if I hear of anything or anyone over your way will definitely pass it on.

Not on this forum much, so I’m sorry for my delayed response. So GRATEFUL to hear from you and your words of encouragement. I appreciate your looking out for any like minded folks out my way, too.
Yes, five years off-grid was pretty challenging, especially on my own. There were a couple of times I needed to get the generator going in minus 30 weather or else the solar battery bank in the cabin would freeze (a.k.a likely a total loss of this expensive equipment). That was where I really learned what I was made of. Never gave up and did get it going!
I agree about the untested mRNA technology. I love to research and there are resources on the VAXXTER.COM website that have been quite informative on this topic. For example, there HAS been research on monkeys for vaccines similar to these. One study was an epic failure, due to the vaccine actually inhibiting the monkey’s own immune system’s microphages ability to fight the infection. Chilling results!
If forced, I would go the Novavax route (i.e., traditional attentuated viruses), too. I contemplate where I will draw my line. This season, ramping up food production so that won’t be an issue. I am already growing enough vegetables to live on through the year. Expanding my protein/beans for health. Just finishing up my last heirloom Hubbard butternut squash from last fall’s harvest. Delicious! Amazing how well these store in a cold room.
All the best to you! I’ll keep in touch.

Hi, I am in Kingston area.
My partner and I have decided not to get the vaccine. We are holding strong. His employer is now requiring the vaccine. I understand the concern as it should be a choice to participate in any medical procedure. Try talking to your union rep and then talk to HR and see what alternatives they will accept. But delay it a long as possible, time will tell if it is safe or not.
Look up things you can take to mitigate the effects like fennel, dandelion leaf extract, vit c, vit d, zinc, quercetin. Do some research on what makes sense for you.

How are you doing? I am awaiting the Ontario government’s announcement about the vaccine passport today.
Have you seen any info about this docuseries, which is airing this week? It has a lot of useful info on it so far, and you can buy it as well:
Wishing you well. Kind regards, CanPrepperGal

Hi Aileen H, So happy to see someone from the Kingston area posting here. Luckily, the “vaccine truck” didn’t come to the farm after all. I am trying to keep a low profile here. No union etc. , no recourse. Am hoping that family-run farms like this might slide under the radar of the mandatory vaccine policies for a while. However, seeing many more employers taking on the policies (schools, public service, hospitals, etc. etc. etc.) so not sure how long I will have.
If anyone knows a supportive physician in this area who would be willing to write a medical letter of support for non-vaccination, please drop me a line.
Aileen, I wish you and your partner luck. Please keep in touch!!!

Hi Crow Bar, Thanks for your welcome. I hope you are doing well!

Thank you for this update. I was not aware of this information. I do know now that Ford is requiring vaccines for his cabinet members. AND he is announcing the vaccine passport today for Ontario.
The Quebec restrictions are sickening (literally!) and nonsensical, including many outdoor activities:

there are sites that help you write a religious exemption to keep vax’s away.

You could also look at ppc people’s party of canada web page and see if voting for them in upcoming election may change the federal government policy on this subject. It’s not a political endorsement, just like usa voting for the main political parties will not change anything as all bought and paid for.
Many politicians will say anything to win and maybe they are the same, I doubt anyone world wide could vote thier way out of the storm about to come but it’s hard to not think that someone better than a high school drama teacher would not be a better choice.
Though Canada uses dominion voting machines.
Never thought usa would end up with such a compromised and not there leader either but ….

Hi Olivia, that is a great idea. I will look into this. I have a friend who is a minister and I might be able to get a letter of support from him. Please keep in touch!

cannot remember exactly where i cut/pasted this tonight.
have read it in other articles..
First of all, to request a religious exemption from your employer, you are NOT REQUIRED to have a letter from a religious person (i.e. clergy) in authority to back up your request. All that is required to trigger your rights is to make it clear to your employer that you are requesting an exemption from “the vaccine” based on a sincerely held religious belief. There are no “magic words” you need to use, just enough to make it clear to your employer that you are refusing to take the jab out of a religious or moral conviction.
hope that helps..

Hi namelus, I actually have looked at the ppc party platform and found it strange that there is no mention of COVID in it. Could I have missed it? We do have a local candidate for that party and he talked about vaccine freedom in a recent press interview. My impression is that the Conservative Party is also supporting vaccine freedom. I haven’t had a chance to review their platform yet.
I don’t think we use voting machines in Canada, just paper and pencil. At least, i have never seen one in all my voting years.
Thank you for the suggestion. Please keep in touch!

I have been doing quite a bit of research on this. My concern with using the “creed” exemption is that it is somewhat subjective and could be taken away. That is exactly what is happening, apparently, in some states now in America (New York and California) and some other countries. The source for this information is Vaccine Choice Canada
They are currently mounting legal challenges to mandatory vaccines in Canadian universities through the Constitutional Rights Centre run by Constitutional Lawyer Mr. Rocco Galati.
What they are saying is that we already have the constitutional right to refuse medical treatment in our constitution. They argue that seeking exemptions give the power to the violators.
Here is a link to this very important document for Canadians:
Unfortunately, I am posting on the day that Ontario will announce its new vaccine passport. I just read the restrictions in our neighbouring province, Quebec, and they are sickening, as they include numerous OUTDOOR activites. It’s more like a nonsense punishment “BAD PERSON BAD PERSON” and you get your own personal lockdown in perpetuity.
In my own workplace on the farm, I have a few options:
*I will continue to lay low
*If asked if I have the vaccine, I can point out that the risk of dying is mine and everyone else is protected by the vaccine, so why would they mind?
*Even though we are not required, I would consent to wear a face shield if everyone would feel safer. I would like to keep my job!
Looking forward to your thoughts, everyone!

They have cut rebel news from any main stream political events and dis allowed ppc in the debates.
They have also allowed up to 5 days past election day to count mail in ballots… fix is in already.
Note I dont endorse rebel news but atleast 70 percent of content is ok they have heavy Israeli ties and skew news concerning them to a better spin. Atleast they are willing to ask some of the questions that matter not just scripted ones.

As for ppc vaccine stand point you can look up on you tube and maxime bernier as leader his stance Is ending vaccine coof bs you want it it’s yours if you dont it’s your choice no restrictions.
Federal Conservative have kicked out yukon members for saying free choice and no vaccine passports.
Ontario dougie ford pos kicked out a member for refusing shots dr. Rick Nichols

Oh, wait…..what’s that sound? A knock on the door?
Yes, they’re here for my guns….
Thank you for the update, Matt in Oklahoma: I’m a big admirer of your posts!
These days, I’m wondering how long I’ll have the right to work….and own my house…..????
A bit later, I’ll post the dystopian non-vaccinated future predicted by one of our human rights organization. Soooooo fun!

Not quite that easy ad the turdeau thinks … 5 supreme court challenges to his non voted on gun law … will fail muster against bill if rights.
Also not turdeau has been chased out of neighborhood s while campaigning and having to move events as counter protester and regular people start chanting and throwing things.
This has never happend before in canada.

Good Points, namelus. Let’s hope he doesn’t get re-elected!
By the way, here’s a brief excerpt from an email I received from the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms when I contacted them regarding my concerns about the vaccine passport in Ontario:
“The full implications of widespread vaccine mandates put in place by government are not yet known, but this much is certain: they will divide society. Those persons who cannot or choose not to be vaccinated for Covid-19, as is their fundamental right, will be segregated and denied a normal existence. They will be vilified in the media and by government, ostracized by society and ultimately persecuted. Those who defend them will be censored, silenced, and punished.
This is what a totalitarian society looks like: restriction of information (Bill C-36 for example), restrictions on the right to travel and cross regional boundaries, and segregation and persecution of dissenters.”
Fun fun fun!

We have a local candidate for the PPC. Looks like that’s the way I’ll go.
Thanks, Matt in Oklahoma!

Only party with no mask mandate is ppc peoples party of canada.
Also only one with an end to deficit budgets, and alot of other good ideas that’s why they are banned from debates while have electable members in 313 of 330 ridings…
September 7, 2021 at 9:49 pm #40022
Yes, the powers that be wouldn’t want those good ideas, like supporting people’s constitutional rights, to catch on! I’m seeing a LOT of signs for PPC around here, so word must be getting out somehow.

Passing along something of interest
September 23, 2021 at 8:51 pm #40550
Wow! Matt in Oklahoma, doesn’t surprise me a bit.
I do listen to the MSM, but only so I know what “everyone else” knows….helps with the gray gal! When i hear the MSM, I don’t think it’s true, i only think…”whose interests is this serving and how is it serving them?”
these days on our national radio news it’s all propaganda against people who aren’t vaccinated. Name-calling that would be stopped were it against any other group. sometimes it even surprises me.
Thanks for this! CPG
