That’s just scientists saying stuff. And we all know we shouldn’t trust scientists: they’re just in it for the grant money.

It’s not like anything bad ever happens.

On November 14th, 1985, the Nevado del Ruiz Volcano erupted in Colombia, killing over 20,000 as nearby towns were buried in mud, ice and lava. Scientists studying the volcano believed an eruption was imminent and had recommended an evacuation of the area which was largely ignored, resulting in the high number of casualties.

With Vulcanology the time scales are so massive in 10 thousand years is really fast things like Yellowstone is 2.2 million and 700,000 years expecting to know exactly when is a life span is around 100 years is a scale and reference issue.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Like every discipline in science there are huge gaps in what we know and there is always false assumptions which get corrected as we know more.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Many preppers are near Yellowstone caldera, that is not a good place. Like sitting on old dynamite sticks that are sweaty, dangerous and if left alone maybe nothing happens one false move and it all goes boom. How ever the ash and gasses will wipe out alot of territory. Not many roofs and building can stand up to ash fall.
