    Everyone please calm down about FEMA camps, and the NG coming to your door to take all your preps.

    My wife is an officer in the NG, and there are no plans for such a thing.

    @CB, The tasks given to the NG in one state can be very different in other states. If you can tell use what your state’s NG is doing during this crisis, without putting your wife at risk, that would be very helpful. Just be sure to mention what that state is, at that time.

      Maintaining combat effectiveness is their priority.
      That goes for all states, and branches of regular military.
      That means limited number of people in a given work space, work from home if possible. They are limiting the number of people allowed on base. Only those with MIL-ID or a government issued CAC card.
      Right now, there is nothing in regards to assisting local LE, medical facilities or security.

      The unit that was called up by Gov Cuomo, the were assisting in setting up quarantine tents, and then 4 of them got infected and the other 81 had to go into quarantine. Someone did not think that one through.
