    The Dept. of Homeland Security should be made to change their name to something more appropriate.  Maybe Dept. of Cultivating Chaos or Dept. of Representative Republic Disillusionment.  They most certainly are not providing any homeland security, now are they?  All they have accomplished since their inception is to further erode the constitutional rights of American citizens!

    Lets not ignore congress’s responsibility in all this.  While Rome burns the socialist-controlled House fiddles with the mystical unicorn of Trump impeachment.  The previous congress didn’t do any better, only they were not filled with uncontrollable hatred for the elected president.  They were simply incompetent.  But when the killing of babies becomes the center-piece of a major political party’s agenda we as a nation are already doomed.  Its no longer IF we fall, but only now how fast and how best not to be caught in the collapse and survive.

      I don’t seem to remember any in the previous congress, especially in the House, referring to Obama as a miscreant, a traitor, as mentally unstable, as a bigot, a misogynist, as a racist, the puppet of a hostile foreign power, attacked Obama’s children or similar vile names and insinuations.  One did call Obama a liar to his face and in public and was quickly silenced by members of his own party.  (Everyone should now know that Obama was, in fact, a liar, but members of the opposing party just weren’t suppose to point it out.)

      If you know of instances where Obama suffered the same level of hatred and vitriol from members of congress as have Trump and his family, please do go “on and on”.  I would like to know if I have overlooked anything.

    name one president that did not lie, comes with being a politician. The only ones that might fit are lost to written history no modern one can claim otherwise.

    Allowing such a threat to happen and not address it is criminal and against every government employee oath of office. Only way to fix this is get rI’d of all of them and their support system this includes beaurocracy of this bloated government. This will never happen willingly or by voting.

    As for Ebola, I’d keep a very close eye on it. This time it’s different. Quite possibly a new mutation as the article states:

    • This clade of the Ebola filovirus is infectious in individuals not showing any prompt signs of infection. IOW, they test positive without fever;

    We should have a 21 day quarantine for everyone incoming from Africa or South America, but we won’t. If word gets out we’re quarantining folks will get all panicky and that will impact the financial markets. Can’t have that.

    @Mouse,
    I get what you are meaning, and if there really was a true pandemic that is exactly what would be required (the mandatory quarantine).
    Unfortunately in this hyper-emotional political divided America, that would get you labeled as a racist.

      It really is past time being called a “racist” even means anything any longer, but you are correct, CB.  The left will use that label and any other they think might shut people up or slow them down.  But its only words.  I’m no longer sensitive to any of it.  Don’t think I ever was.

      Nameless is correct, too.  Allowing this to happen is criminal.

    They didn’t because Obama wasn’t. Trump is all that and more (nepotist, bully, serial liar, can’t read more than picture books, believes himself above the law…)

    A classic debate move is to try to change the terms of the conversation. In this case it’s a classic whataboutism. Can’t whatabout your way outa the racism directed at Obama from day one.

      Maybe you should better understand your little pet term “whataboutism”.  Its saying that even though one side did so and so, what about that other side doing this?  Thats not what my statement communicated.  I suggest you read it again….. real slow.  I asked for examples where members of congress said any of those nasty unsupported and erroneous comments about Obama.  The key part is MEMBERS OF CONGRESS!  Of course there were people that hated Obama for no other reason than he was half black.  And, in case you haven’t noticed, one of the pillars of the ‘new’ Socialist Democrat Party is identity politics, i.e. RACISM.  Now go sit in the corner and let the adults talk.

    The Obama administration was a continuation of the Bush administration. And Clinton, had she won, would of been a continuation of both of those administrations.

    But the MSM did not spin it that way. That would not fit the narrative they are pushing. It comes down to this, if you disagree with the narrative, then you are a neo-Nazi racist.

    Independent thinking cannot be allowed.

    No problem. I’ll back off. It’s really off topic anyway. Just couldn’t resist poking the possum…
