Nearly 200 People Arrested Across Australia For Deliberately Starting Bushfires
What a bunch of a$$h0!*&!
I hope the adults who started the fires get the max prison time.
The kids, put their parents on the hook for $$$ damages and or prison time! -
I totally agree. The US is now over there helping to get those fires out. And all those wild animals that have died. Not to mention the deaths of people and loss of homes there. Those people that started the fires need to get the harshest of punishment.

You still have to have the right conditions for these mega-fires. Global warming…Mini Ice Age….Noah’s 2nd Flood……….most folks look at their own little slice of history and squeal that it’s the end of the world.
We get cooler…..and warmer…..and wetter…..and dryer. Right now US continent has had a stretch of super dry summers…and mega wildfire. This year, our specific area opted out of dry and had lovely regular rains. Nice breather from all the dry years. 🙂
So granted, Australia is having a bad dry season….. Hope they get rains soon. But ARSON? Or CARELESSNESS? Are the arsonists trying to prove a point…..push and agenda? Pathetically immoral.
We also have had arsonists AND STUPID on our bad fire years. One year was crazy with arson. But we who live here became vigilant and got most of them put out as the fire departments arrived. Those fire departments were running hither and yon all over their districts. I don’t think they ever caught the person(s) responsible and eventually the fires stopped. Unfortunately a very large fire had been started and maybe that’s why they stopped. Success. 🙁 They will prosecute STUPID too, if they prove who/what/where started it.
