ParticipantThe trial of Mpls policeman Derek Chauvin begins next Monday, March 8, 2021. Accused of murder in the first degree of Mpls resident George Floyd, Chauvin has been pilloried from the pulpit, soapbox and Nike storefront as the worst sort of evil cop you can imagine. And maybe he is, I don’t know. What I do know is the Mpls gov’t has gone into high alert on the very real likelihood of mass protests devolving into chaotic violence and are taking protective measures to keep rioters from the city hall, government center and various feeders to the Law and Order business. Ten foot chainlink fencing around whole city blocks, military style checkpoints, walls of concrete barriers, plywood (new and ungrafitti’ed) over every first floor entrance and window – it’s full on Fort Apache. They’re installing a whole layer of surveillance gear on lamp posts surrounding the Red Zone, as I think they are calling their secured area. Ladies and gentlemen, place your bets. How is this going to play out?

ModeratorThe verdict will be of no matter the results will be the same. The verdict will be read on a Friday night “for public safety” aka when the most drunks, the most criminals, the most don’t have to be anywhere’s till Monday etc are ready, staged and pumped up.
Dems will ignore the violence and say things like it’s The Peoples right(as long as it’s the right people) and after a few days to a week it’ll end and nothing will have changed in the world. Kinda like the game and after party of the superbowl in that there’s a lot of hoopla, some noise and money being lost but really nothing changed.
Anyway that’s my bet on the red 7 of wheel of rioters -

ParticipantDay 1 of the trial has been delayed so the DA can load up on more spurious charges. Meanwhile in South Mpls a gang gunfight about a mile from the Floyd memorial leave one dead, another wounded. Black Lives Matter? The irony is strong here.

19 killed so far inside the no go zone. Only thing that matters is doing what they wanna do.
Insofar as survival it’s a good place not to be now or in the near future. I’d keep a gas mask handy especially if driving in the area. Those clouds drift a ways.-

KeymasterI did not know there was a . . . zone, of any kind.
Kinda gives insight to what a WROL would be like.

ParticipantReports are that jury selection is complicated by prospective uncle’s concerns of community reprisals against members of the jury. Doxxing, threatening bands of angry strangers at your doorstep, the trend is clear.

ParticipantThe trial has not even started yet, but Minneapolis City Council has voted unanimously to give $ 27,000,000 to George Floyd’s estate, a sum in keeping with the sports star status they wish to confer on that man for his services in popularizing the anti-cop, anti-civilization agenda they wish to push through. This will be a purely political show trial; any semblance of justice served will be of secondary importance, at best.

ModeratorThe timing of this certainly isn’t going to help the trail and actual decision making. I don’t recall this being done in the past.
I’m doubtful it will negate any violence either.
Avoid the area, know alternate routes, try n guesstimate the date of decision.

ParticipantThe judge will allow certain medical evidence from a previous arrest, from 2019, where Floyd was placed in a police car and injested a stash of drugs, and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment. It’s appearing that Floyd in his final arrest may have been already dosed up on his fentanyl/meth speedball, and when he was as arrested swallowed the fatal dose rather her than allowing the cops to find drugs on his person. Meanwhile the city council is doing everything in their power to generate chaos and an impossible outcome; who is driving their clown car?

ParticipantThe tactics of prosecution and defense are telling: as others have noted, prosecution is based on “feelies” and defense is on facts. One interesting piece of evidence popped up yesterday; alternate footage showing Chauvin with his knee on Floyd’s shoulder, not neck. Meanwhile chief Adderondo showed himself again to be a city council mouthpiece, no surprise considering his actions last summer.

KeymasterProsecutors Ask Jurors To Dismiss George Floyd Autopsy Findings
Well, asking jurors to dismiss the official autopsy report does not suggest the prosecution has a strong case.
That is going to be the defenses best evidence and strength.
I really dont think the prosecution is going to prove their case and the defense will.
Now, will the jurors vote with that in mind? Or their own safety or possible outbreaks of violence?
Hard to call.

ParticipantToday we saw evidence that Chauvin also used a pain handhold on Floyd even after F- was unconscious. That blows the defense’s claim that he was merely following protocol, it veers toward torture. If true that’s bad news for defense.

ParticipantFloyd was shedding pills he got from Mr, 5A, in his own car, the squad car, and around the ground. That blows he prosecution’s claim that F- was an innocent victim

ParticipantMr 5A (F’s heroin dealer and long-time acquaintance) is the still not arrested primary cause of F’s death. F- OD’d the previous week on 5A’s stuff and was taken to emergency by his junky girlfriend, who was with 5A and F- when F- nodded out in his car, prompting the store owner to call the cops.. MPD arrived and GF/5A split, leaving F- to fend for himself. And the rest is history…

ParticipantPain is not always torture, but often is used to test for actual unconsciousness versus faking.
A sternum “rub” is a great way to check for faking, and to rouse some of the drunks without really hurting them. This case will have to be looked at carefully, and with the emotion kept at bay.
Why do I say this? Because the potential for an acquittal is high, because when you take the totality of circumstances into account, training, policy vs procedure, and a plethora of other things, it will be nearly impossible to prove intent.

ParticipantOn Friday we got to see some of Chauvin’s body cam footage, that shows F- completely out of control, flopping around like a 6’6” fish, requiring multiple cops physical attention. Is it any wonder Ch- went into full on restraint mode? F- brought this whole incident upon himself, which any jury not terrified of BLM reprisal would likely conclude.

ParticipantOver the weekend a community member was killed by police in an accidental shooting, which further inflamed tensions here. Strong police and nat’l guard presence; three counties were placed in curfew lockdown on Monday after some (relatively small) rioting and looting Sunday eve. Whether this event will have any sway either way on the outcome of the trial is yet to be seen.

ParticipantProsecutor and defense have completed their examinations and will give closing arguments Monday. MSM is assuming a guilty verdict although many say the prosecution’s case was weak. Meanwhile the streets are alive with riots that have taken on a new, “get whitey” terror theme, which will cause events to go kinetic when the opportunity arises. The Chauvin verdict will send this crowd crazy. Name your favorite frightening African War: Rhodesia, Rwanda, Congo, Libya, Somalia… all coming to make a grand appearance in Minneapolis, MN. And all with the blessing and encouragement of the Vice President of the Unite States, Kamela Harris, and her backstage partners in the Land of the Free. Somebody wants to crash this ship of state real bad.
