Why it matters: The survey finds that Americans feel more worried today about fake news because it’s undermining their trust in key institutions, like government and the media.
Uh, the government and the media did that, gain the untrust of the general public, all by themselves.

Fake news attacks us daily , “terrorist ” attacks are few and far between . They are probably less lethal to America in the short , and long run than fake news as well . I also think the people running fake news , hate America worse than islam does .

I just posted an article about how Twitter is making people dumber.
I think as a society we have become, well, dumber. People want everything spoon fed to them in small easily digestible bites.
There have been articles noting that MSM news is becoming more difficult for the average viewer to discern fact from opinion.
And MSM does that on purpose.People also dont want to be just informed, they want to be entertained.
