Selco, if you had a $10,000 budget and you had to start prepping from the beginning. What categories and and how much would you allocate in each category?

Well you got me with question, and had to think about it for some time.

    It is good question.

Given the my previous experience, and my let s say survival philosophy I can offer you two answers.

First solution is to invest it in buying piece of land, and building off grid shelter home,to include having enough land for growing food.
So: solar, growing food, hunting… (taken in consideration I found good spot for home)

For that amount of money here it is possible to achieve biggest part of that plan.

Second solution is buying camper, camper van (prefferably “hidden” camper) prefferably building (converting) one based on my needs and plans, that amount is more then enough for that.

Actually as time progress second solution gets more atractive to me.

    I want to be mobile.

If I taking it from scratch, I mean if we do not taking in consideration my knowledge and experience then i would invest it in knowledge. Nursing school, or paramedic or similar.
