Hello, greetings from Chicago IL USA
I just read your book “The Dark Secrets of SHTF Survival”. I loved it, very informative and interesting. I am just wondering what city were you in? Did you stay in that city after the war ended? Did anyone ever attempt to flee the city?

I have that book but have not had a chance to read it with things going on beyond my control at this time. From what I can tell it will be a very interesting read. Hopefully I will be able in a week to sit down and start reading it. I am really looking forward to things getting back to normal soon.

Yeah, sorry, I usually do not mention city in on line discussions, because numerous reasons, but in that time there were several cities in similar situation.
Of course, people attempted to leave the city, but it was very hard to do it, you could leave it practicaly goung trough the enemy lines gaps, or over very hard mountain road (again trough gaps in lines and mine fields). Other solution was to use some of the warlords groups for smuggling out but no guaranties there for anything.
I am still in the same region here, that is one of the reasons why I kept some names away from on line mentioning.
