    Baking Powder Biscuits by Freiburg

    Flour 3 cups

    Salt 1 teaspoon

    Baking Powder 3 teaspoon

    Sift together 3 times

Cut in with a knife 3-16th of a pound of butter with flour, then rub in with both hands until well blended in flour. Put this in a mixing bowl.

Now add about 1 ½ cups milk, cut milk into the flour with a knife until you form a soft dough. Mix no more

Flour a pie board well, pour mixture on the board, then flour top only to be able to press out with hands to the right thickness to cut out the biscuit cutter.

Now blow off the extra flour from the biscuit before placing on the pan. Bake in a very hot oven about 400, no cooler, Bake 15 minutes or a little longer.
