ParticipantThese requests should be still made as this pandemic has created a huge hole in my pocket.

ParticipantThat alone shows how inconsiderate people can be when it comes to big decisions such as a mortgage.

ParticipantYeah same consideration a dad who is out of work is getting in family court…
Great reset means YOU dont own anything and guess who ends up with your ex home for pennies on the dollar?
You think it’s bad now ….. just wait foreclosures by spring as market heats up….

ParticipantI totally agree. I don’t see the market becoming better or jobs coming back soon. Look at the travel sector including planes, cruises and hotels that have been brought to their knees. I was lucky enough to have a big lump of money saved for emergency use but of course this money will not last forever unless you invest them. So if you have some money you can invest I would suggest you to check a great free tool like https://www.creditdonkey.com/personal-capital-review.html where you might get some useful input.

ParticipantAh, but what to invest in? GameStop? That ship sailed a week ago. Silver/gold? Hard to swim with the sharks when you’re all weighted down. Stock market? It’s gonna crash someday soon, and they’re not giving you a 48 hour notice.

ParticipantInvest in you… buy things that you can use to make a small business that is skill based and can work pre and post shft.
Other thing to buy is farm land with water rights. Either way a good investment so long as ZERO DEBT.

KeymasterI agree with Namelus: Agriculture land, with access to fresh water/water rights.
Otherwise, home improvements to make the home more efficient, or other improvements.

ParticipantIt only shows how important further planning is when taking a mortgage. Or even any loan, which is pretty frequent for us. Finding a perfect bank and option is a hard and responsible decision, and our future depends on our choice now

KeymasterThat right there!
I know too many people who just take the first in a internet search. We got a real estate lawyer who made sure of the fine print. Sure, it was another $600, but she made sure everything was in order, and no BS.
Our real estate agent did not like it.

ParticipantKlaus Schwab’s plan is to make you go bankrupt, and he’ll buy your possessions for pennies on the the dollar. You will own nothing and he’ll be happy. Don’t give him the satisfaction of winning.

P.S:
I’m worried about it, and the mortgage question stresses me out. Me and my wife, I plan to take it soon. I’m a little freaked out and don’t want to do it ‘blindly.’ So I’m thinking of an Equity Release Bristol consultation to discuss the best and cheapest option for me

ParticipantIt’s very hard to survive without money and even after pendamic lots of people faces financial issues, they lost their jobs but you need to fulfill your basic needs and all banks and other lenders have high interest rate if they provide loan but not to worry, here a better option available rather than these which is infinity loan and you do not need to pay instantly, you will get it at very low interest rate and you can also pay it on your paycheck day.
