Wow how out of control does it have to get, one would think inciting violence rule would be used to arrest someone for this type of statement

So he would like to see the criminalization of Americans for defending their 2ndA right?

I would hope that most would find the nuke comment to be sarcasm.

He gets his wish, theres more than a few old guys out there with nothing to lose.

And there’s always the fact that a few states would succeed over that exact issue, could be interesting.

I love the way everyone twists words around to suit their agenda. He was responding to Joe Biggs who colorfully asserted that Swalwell’s proposed legislation would lead to civil war.

Let me put it a bit more bluntly, maybe some will actually get the point:

Civil war? National guard vs theater nuclear weapons? Get real.

Ok what if you said a school shooting they should have brought bullet proof vest, or doged better sarcasm but boy would you get a different response.

As for civil war there is already heavy leanings away from federalism, how many states have enacted 2nd amendment protection laws? What do you think will happen when big daddy fed starts no knocking on gun owners? First few might be shock and awe then something awful will happen when the enforcers are no longer in the àgressor role. While there are combat veterans in the police there are far more not when push comes to shove alot of people will get hurt over political ideology that is counter to their oath of office if that is not treason I don’t know what is. Every politician in usa swears to uphold and defend the constitution, taking away rights can not be argued as upholding the constitution.

I hope clearer heads will prevail but looking at this type of behavior makes me wonder how long till it goes pear shaped

    Mouse Wizard,

What pray tell is my agenda?

Because anyone in office who has a very clear agenda of disarming the citizens and uses comments like this in jest or sarcasm has me questioning exactly how far he would go to accomplish his goals.

Obviously the Constitutionally affirmed right of the citizens means nothing to this person.

Even jesting, words like that can get innocent people killed. Not that he cares one iota.
